Long Island, NY– Long Island, NY – Options for Community Living, Inc. is proud to announce the receipt of a generous $10,000 grant from The Marilyn Lichtman Foundation. This vital funding will provide general operating support for Options’ outcomes-driven programs, which are designed to empower vulnerable Long Islanders through improved access to healthcare, safe and affordable housing, and critical socio-economic resources.
The grant will help advance Options’ mission to remove barriers that prevent individuals and families—especially those who are low-income, disabled, or experiencing homelessness—from achieving stability and self-sufficiency.
“Supporting low-income, disabled, and homeless individuals and families is not only a moral imperative—it’s how we build a stronger, more compassionate community,” said Yolanda Robano-Gross, Chief Executive Officer of Options for Community Living. “With stable housing and access to essential services, people can go from merely surviving to truly thriving. We are deeply grateful to The Marilyn Lichtman Foundation for their commitment to uplifting our most vulnerable neighbors.”
The Marilyn Lichtman Foundation is dedicated to funding organizations that serve both those in need and those who provide critical aid. Its philanthropic efforts support a wide range of community services, including emergency housing, food banks, shelters, first responders, and human services organizations.
