Options for Community Living Receives Grant from Investors Foundation to Help Homeless Families 

Options for Community Living, Inc., a Long Island-based not-for-profit organization received a $5,000 grant award from Investors Foundation. This award will help further Options’ mission to help individuals and families struggling with homelessness and housing instability to live independently in the community.

“We rely on both government funding and private support to operate our programs,” said Yolanda Robano-Gross, CEO. “While we proudly help many of our clients access housing, they still need basic essentials, for example, a new bed, bedding, furnishings, kitchenware, and other things upon move in.” Robano-Gross continued, “This award from Investors Foundation is so important because it will help provide those essentials, the things that make a new house a warm and comfortable home. Doesn’t everyone deserve that?”
