Event Honoree

Tommy DiMisa, The Nonprofit Sector Connector, is a passionate advocate for the nonprofit community and a dynamic relationship builder. A Long Island native with a background in finance, sales, and business development, he currently serves as Director of Strategic Alliances at Vanguard Benefits, where he champions mission-aligned, people-first solutions. Tommy is the founder and host of Philanthropy in Phocus, a podcast dedicated to amplifying nonprofit voices, and leads his consultancy, In Phocus Productions, helping organizations grow through strategic partnerships and authentic connections. As the recipient of the Visionary Volunteer Award, Tommy is being honored for his outstanding commitment to service and his fundraising efforts on behalf of Options for Community Living. Active on multiple nonprofit boards and community initiatives, Tommy lives by two guiding questions: Will this make the right impact? and Are we adding value?
