Options for Community Living, Inc. has been awarded a $7,500 grant from Astoria Bank in support of housing for individuals and families living with HIV/AIDS. The funding will be used to support Options 69 housing sites scattered throughout Nassau and Suffolk Counties that are dedicated to serving individuals with HIV/AIDS and their families.
“With affordable rent and access to healthcare and support, our families find stability and put down roots in the community,” said Yolanda Robano-Gross, Options’ executive director. “Astoria Bank has a long history of supporting organizations that enrich our communities and provide vital services. Options is grateful their support of this life changing housing program.”
