Options Director of Human Resources Lori Barraud Receives Long Island Business News 40 Under 40 Award

Options Director of Human Resources, Lori Barraud was named as one of Long Island’s Top 40 Rising Stars under the age of 40 by Long Island Business News.

“I truly cannot find the words to express my feelings about this,” said Barraud. “I am humbled, honored and grateful. This is not an individual accomplishment. I have been inspired and influenced by so many people with whom I have worked through the years.  I am incredibly honored to work for such an amazing organization that has always provided me with opportunity to succeed in my career!”

Since 1998, Long Island Business News has taken nominations for outstanding members of the business community on Long Island who are 40 or under. These future leaders of Long Island have already begun to distinguish themselves in business, government, education and the not-for-profit sector. They have a proven track record of career success, are involved in mentoring and promoting their profession and find time to give back to their communities.

Lori Barraud is a human resources leader with 15 years of progressive and diverse experience in the field. Her responsibilities include staffing, employee relations, compensation and benefits administration, policies and procedures and legal compliance. She is the chairperson of the agency training committee, member of the Corporate Compliance Committee, and EEO Officer.  Ms. Barraud holds a Master’s degree in Human Resources Management from Stony Brook University and is a member of the Long Island Chapter of the Society for Human Resources Management. She began her career in Human Resources with Options as a recruiter and rejoined as a member of the Options management team in 2011 with eight years of prior related work experience.
