Options’ Executive Director receives Brava Award

Options for Community Living Executive Director Yolanda Robano-Gross recently was honored by Long Island SmartCEO as one of the region’s top female business leaders at the 2016 Brava Awards. Robano-Gross was among 40 award winners recognized during a reception held at the Westbury Manor. Brava awardees combine their entrepreneurial spirit with a passion for giving back to the community by encouraging local philanthropy, mentoring up-and-coming leaders and setting their organizations on the path to tremendous growth. This year’s class of honorees collectively generates more than $10.38 billion in annual revenue and employs more than 8,149 individuals.

With more than 20 years of executive level experience within the health care industry, Robano-Gross assumed the role of executive director at Options for Community Living in 2014. She is responsible for oversight of all agency affairs, including: fiscal management of an annual budget of more than $17 million, personnel management, program development and fundraising. She holds a Master’s degree in Health Care Administration, Master’s degree in Social Work, and a Bachelor’s degree in Social Work.
