On Sunday, April 7th, Options for Community Living, Inc. held its fourth annual comedy night fundraising event at Governor’s, The Brokerage Comedy Club in Bellmore. Proceeds from the event benefit Option’s programs serving some of Long Island’s most vulnerable citizens.
Notable comedians entertained the crowd of more than 150 with plenty of laughter to go around. Gift baskets and silent auction items including baseball tickets, wine tastings, theater tickets donated by local businesses and supporters added to the excitement of the night.
“Thanks to incredible sponsors, donors and friends, we raised more than $13,000 in support of our programs,” said Yolanda Robano-Gross, Executive Director. “Last year alone Options’ housing and case management programs assisted more than 2,000 people with mental illness and other chronic health conditions. Our programs provide stability, hope and opportunity for a better life.”
